Busted: Deputy police chief shows up at Florida prostitution sting with White Claws, says Sheriff Grady Judd.
DiPrima’s arrest was a part of a week-long human trafficking undercover enforcement operation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the operation was to identify those involved in human trafficking and arrest those who procure and engage in prostitution.
In order to seek out human trafficking rings, the department have to engage in undercover prostitution rings. DiPrima has been on the police force for over 30 years, as well as former FBI engagement. He was driving a government owned task force vehicle and showed up at an undercover operation carrying alcohol for the prostitute seeking to have sexual encounter with the undercover officer.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Jason DiPrima of Kingston, Georgia, was arrested Thursday for soliciting a prostitute, booked into the Polk County Jail, where he was released after paying a $500 bond.
I don't know which is more embarrassing. Getting caught, or having sheriff Judd describing your activity in public.
